Important Safety Notice

# The use of ipod or any earplug type music devises are strongly discouraged. These are dangerous due to users not being able to hear instructions from course officials or hear movements of other participants around them. We have had participants fall over due to users of†earplug music devises. Please do not wear these during the event.
# Participants may encounter a short section of gravel road in the first and last few kilometres†of all events. This will be well-graded, but entrants are asked to be aware, especially†on the outward journey.

# There will be some road controls in effect during parts of the course. BUT this does not mean there will be no vehicles on the roads. We must cater for traffic movements at major intersections, resident movements on the course, and access for emeregency vehicles. The road closures enable you to legally run on the road, but they do not give you sole use of the road. At all times you must keep left, watch for traffic and obey normal road rules.

NB: Be aware that due to road closure and course management restrictions, the course will be officially closed at 2:00pm.
