Bone Marrow Cancer Trust

Rānui House & Apartments

When a loved one is in the hospital, it can be overwhelming. That’s why having a place of respite is so important.

The Bone Marrow Cancer Trust’s Rānui House and Apartments provides a home away from home for patients and their families who must travel to Christchurch for life-saving medical treatments.

It doesn’t matter what age or treatment patients are going through – everyone is welcome at Rānui. This year, we hosted 2,500 families from around New Zealand.

In the heart of Christchurch city, and only a short stroll from the hospital, our 80 apartments provide a warm, welcoming space for families to stay close.

Because we know that when families are together, they heal faster, and together with your help, we can continue to provide a place of comfort for those who are going through so much.

So, join the Rānui revolution this Christchurch Marathon!

Please help us raise $60,000 by donating or signing up to fundraise through Running for Rānui.

And on Marathon Day, show your support by wearing orange – just like our team will!

From the Bone Marrow Cancer Trust and Rānui team - thank you for supporting us and the patients and families we serve.
