The Christchurch Marathon, a staple in New Zealand's running community, was established in 1981.
Over the years, the event has become a respected race, drawing participants from New Zealand and around the world.
The course is as flat as you will find anywhere, perfect for setting a PB or for taking it easy with friends and enjoying the electric atmosphere.
